SECRETARY

Brandy Bryant is the Executive Assistant for the Division of Services of the Blind. She is the CEO/Owner of PlayHouse Children’s Boutique. She is responsible for assisting the agency director with any tasks that enhance the personal and economic independence of blind and severely visually impaired people in Arkansas.

 

Brandy assists the Division of Services of the Blind office by providing excellent customer service to consumers and other state agency employees. She is responsible for appointment scheduling, filing of state and federal documents, and managing and approving all payroll accounts and purchase requisitions within the agency. She also takes minutes in quarterly board meetings.

 

Brandy has been a guest service and customer service representative who provides exemplary work since 2001.  She has worked with various organizations providing administrative support that includes distributing qualifying information to targeted areas within specific committees. 

 

Brandy's passion for helping others is very empowering and inspirational.  Her passion allows her to continue to offer excellent administrative and consultative aid for empowering organizations.  Some of her duties involve minute-taking, filing, scheduling, multi-tasking, collaborative and impactful communication, and transferring pertinent information to individuals.

 

Brandy grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas, However, she has been a resident of Jacksonville since 2007. She has two daughters Niylen and Jade that she spends most of her free time shopping, reading, traveling, and watching movies.  While finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management & Administration she is committed to her role as the Secretary of Universal Empowerment Association.
